Description
Cars on the Rec meeting 1st June, from 10:00 until 13:00 on The Eversdens Recreation ground. As always, bacon rolls, cakes and drinks are available.
It’s nearly time for the next of our Cars on the Rec meeting!
Throughout May to September our meets are held on the first Sunday of each month, so 1st June will be the second for 2025. The weather for our May meet was a little cool, but we still had a great time with 38 vehicles on the rec for us to view and talk about. Hopefully, we will enjoy a similar turnout on June 1st.
One of the really pleasing things for me in May was the number of villagers from the Eversdens who joined us. The the Cars on the Rec event and our annual plant sale happening at the same time, we raised around £550 for The Eversdens Recreation Area Charity. An excellent result, and we thank you all!
We encourage villagers to join us for each of our meetings, and will be running a books, games and puzzles sale alongside Cars on the Rec on June 1st. Please come along, we look forward to seeing you there.
