Description
You are invited to take part in the 27th classic car event, The Wolds Way Ru, supporting the charity Dove House Hospice.
All MG Cars and all marques of Vintage, Classic and Sports Cars are welcome to enter.
The event is a full day new social car run of around 100 miles through the scenic Yorkshire wolds visiting Sledmere, Thornton le Dale, NY500 and Millington.
The circular run is easily navigated using the tulip-style route book, which also includes information of the areas we are visiting. Early entry is advised as car plaques are limited to 60.
This year the event car rally plaques for the event have been kindly sponsered by MGCC club members Deg of Maple Garage, Graeme of G C Reid & Co and Steve of CFS Brighouse.
The start and the finish is at Cottingham Parks Golf Club, HU16 5SW, easily accessed from the A164, 6 miles from A63 via M62 or A15; travelling from the north, 6 miles from Beverley.
Breakfast, tea and coffee is available at Cottingham Parks Golf Club when signing on and, to complete the day of adventure, why not enjoy the optional 2-course tea-time meal? Menu choice of either, pork or salmon plus a vegetarian option, dessert choices of lemon cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding. Tea or coffee.
