GAWSWORTH HALL CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Map

Description

Celebrating pre-1980 cherished classic cars and motorcycles.

The first recorded rally at Gawsworth took place in 1902, held by the Manchester Automobile Club. The Hall has long been linked with the motor vehicle, being home in the 1940s and 1950s to Denis Ferranti and his wonderful collection, including a T59 Bugatti that now takes pride of place in Ralph Lauren’s garage.

The show includes an informal concours and autojumble, with recent highlights including wonderful eight-litre vintage Bentleys and dozens of period scooters. All are welcome to come and go as they wish, ensuring a relaxing day for both owners and visitors.
