Map

Description

Join this year's Drive It Day along with Ride It Day for the Motorcycle Community.

Bring your classic car or motorcycle to take part in this year's Drive It Day, in aid of the the NSPCC’s Childline®, to raise money to support vulnerable children. Pre-31 July 1995 vehicles are welcome. For example, the registration number for this date will have a M prefix e.g. M123 ABC.

Gates open at 9am for classic vehicles via Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road. The Museum and Sunbeam Café open at 10am.

National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005.  It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public at large have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organised in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle. It’s also a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads.
