Description
The local population has taken to the rally with such enthusiasm over the years that many charity stalls are erected along the main streets. The rally has grown to be one of the largest and most successful commercial vehicle rallies in the country and attracts entries from as far afield as Aberdeen, London, South Wales, and Cornwall.
The many thousands of visitors give a well-needed early-in-the-year economic boost to the two communities and the atmosphere is terrific.
