SUNDERLAND & DISTRICT CLASSIC VEHICLE SOCIETY MONTHLY MEETING

Map

Description

Sunderland & District Classic Vehicle Society in conjunction with Ryhope Engines Museum Start and End of Season Show. The Ryhope Engines Museum is based on the Ryhope Pumping Station which was built in 1868 to supply water to the Sunderland area. The station ceased operation in 1967 - after 100 years of continuous use.

2021 marked 25 years since half a dozen of us met up at the Board Inn to launch this great club. The club has achieved a lot over the years and hopes to do so for a long time. Since then, the club has grown into a well-respected and friendly North East classic club.

We organise at least six of our own great events per year, plus we attend many other shows as a club, and organise trips to museums and other events such as the NEC:

  1. Ryhope Museum Season Opener
  2. Beamish Museum
  3. Gary Davison Memorial Run
  4. Seaburn Classic Car & Heritage Show
  5. Haswell and District Mencap
  6. Ryhope Engines End of Season Show
