Description
It is with deep regret and much frustration, that we must announce the rescheduling of the forthcoming Festival of Power event originally planned for the Easter weekend.
After the very wet start to this year, our region has continued to experience persistent rain during what has become the wettest February on record. This has rendered all of our waterlogged grassland car parks and campsites unusable and therefore unsafe for the expected camping and traffic movement.
Whilst, the team have been on constant weather watching duties, there has been no significant break in the weather pattern and sadly this situation looks to continue into the next couple of weeks at least.
An action-packed Easter weekend for the whole family featuring the famous annual Jet Car Shootout! Awesome Nitro Funny Cars, Nostalgia Funny Cars, 300mph Top Fuel Dragsters and the National Drag Racing Championships including 200mph Pro Mods. Plus a line-up of all things powerful off track with Monster Trucks, Stunt Displays, Sideshows, Fun Fair Rides, Traders and more. Camping available onsite so come for the weekend.
