Description

The Mazda MX-5 SuperCup Championship is a highly competitive one-make competition for the Mk3 Mazda MX-5, which regularly attracts some of the fastest and most skilled drivers from across UK club motorsport.

The MX-5 SuperCup Championship features an eight-race meeting calendar, visiting some of the finest race circuits across the UK. The championship is usually settled on the final weekend of competition and has been for the last six seasons, with multiple drivers in contention right down to the final race!

Cars can be both prepared from home or maintained by one of several race teams and outfits, providing a cost-effective way for anyone to compete in a contemporary small sports car and succeed, no matter what their budget.

The MX-5 SuperCup Championship is seen by many as the next step up from its Mk1 counterpart, as drivers pedal the 2.0-litre Mk3 MX-5 in competition against one another. The two-class structure consists of aProclass for drivers looking for a higher level of competition, and aClubclass for drivers wishing to race without the pressure of the Pro Class, but still enjoy the racing environment.

The championship features a Masters contest within the main series to allow all drivers aged 45 and over to fight and achieve their own victories and titles. The brilliant camaraderie and welcoming paddock allow any driver to feel welcome and make friends straight away.
